Dr. Kath graduated from her hometown of Edinburgh with a BSc in Biology in 1991, then completed a PhD in Pharmacology at the University of Cambridge, UK. After working as a postdoctoral associate and in the pharmaceutical industry, she pursued her long-held dream of becoming a veterinarian, graduating from the Royal School of Veterinary Studies at Edinburgh University in 2007.
Since moving to Vancouver in 2009, Dr Kath has worked as a general practitioner in several veterinary clinics in the Lower Mainland and the North Shore, including feline-only practice. Her aim is to put the cat’s needs first while providing the highest standard of care in a relaxed and friendly setting. Her passions include internal medicine, preventive health care and dermatology.
When not at work she enjoys trail running, biking, skiing and hiking, and spending time with her husband and two teenage sons.
